CTP workshop

We accept project saved as:

• PDF composite files made of PostScript (PS) files,
• composite PostScript (PS) files,
• the files should contain cutting tags or creasing lines
• minimum bleed size – 3 mm
• text free area – minimum 5 mm from cutting lines
• projects containing a cutting die or an UV varnish mask should be sent in separate files with visual in .jpg or .pdf file
• tonal gradients and transparency must be changed into 350 dpi bitmaps

Net sheet should be centred to page.

Not all PDF files are acceptable. The file is unacceptable if it contains:

• elements saved as ICC, Lab, RGB or other colour spaces, 
• low resolution graphic elements defined in CMYK projects, 
• non-defined fonts.

To improve the cooperation, we suggest file names as following:

E.g. 001_032_UserManual _A.ps – a file containing first version (“A”) of “User Manual” book, page numbers 1-32; if needed, revision will be signed as “B”.

Each element of the page should be defined in CMYK and spot colours according to the colour scheme. Each spot colour should be precisely described in the order (colour name). Otherwise all spot colours will be automatically separated to CMYK colours.

All fonts used in the project should be added inside of the Postscript/PDF file sent to exposure or converted to outlines.
